Professor: Lucky one

I took the last seat, plugged in my charger, and waited for class to start. As he started I listened carefully to my professor lecture and started taking endless notes. After 90 minutes class was finally over!

I walked out of class, grabbed my belongings and dumped them in my bag. Next thing I saw was Dhary right in front of class, standing there, waiting for me. His smile so innocent and that gaze I cant not smile when I see!

Me: heyy

Dhary: halaa …shloona el class

Me: as usual notes ege9on el eed :D

Dhary: 3ayal dam chethy yallah emshay a6al3ich

Me: hahaha ambaih 7asayt nafsy yahel

We started walking through the hallway and out to the car as we chatted about what is needed when they arrive.

Suddenly Dhary said….

Dhary: bs eyoun Aziz o mrta I'm moving out bag3ad eb sheqety

Me: la bs shloon …

Dhary: don't worry it’s getting cleaned ;)

Me: mmm ok

We finally got to the car and we’d decided to go to a mall then to Baby ‘r us and Target!

At Baby ‘r us we went to the cribs section to choose any 2 for the F’s, while I was in the process of picking out one and taking Dhary’s opinion his phone rang. He motioned for me to wait and that he’ll be back. However, his voice was loud and I could hear him from between the shelves, when he was on his way back to where I was I heard...

Dhary: ana gayelkom mabeeha ya5y dawrolaha ghairy ana shako abtelesh feeha!... ya5y ma7ebha !! 5alaa9!...yah qa9eb el zawaj…malkom shghl ana 7a6ha b3youni wain betroo7 ballah?… et6eeer? mathalan....5ala9 ana la3at chbdy mnkom yala fman allah….

Dhary: staghefrallah el 3a’9eem

…there I go trying to change the subject and acting as if I heard nothing

Me: shglt ayhe a7la

Dhary: e5thay ely e3ajbich saroon klha frash yahel

I called a staff member and got two of the same white classic cribs and the same white highchairs, two staff members are going to come tomorrow to put them up for us!

Lastly, we went to Target and got baby food and essentials for the kitchen.

The ride back home was silent, awkward and all; you can say. As we parked in our garage spot. I got down, and opened the trunk to carry something at least, I pulled one of the highchairs to carry with my left hand the other with my right to see him complaining…

Dhary: latshelin 5aleh ana ardlihom el7in

I ignored and walked to the elevator placed the boxes by the wall and went back again to help carry the rest. I carried some bags and Dhary was standing there by the trunk staring like what’s wrong with her? That’s what I want right? For him to apologize…

The next day was boring like always, I went to uni attended my morning class then left to go wait for the staff to come fix the cribs for me. I went back to the apartment to find Dhary still asleep. I woke him up because one of the cribs is going to be in the there.

Dhary: meta byoun?

Me: madry

I answered without bothering to look him in the eye or actually looking at him. He grabbed something from the fridge and left, I didn’t see him after that … I arranged the cribs and put them into place, and placed the foods in their places; i.e fridge, cupboard, store…

That was how I ended my day… the next few days I wouldn’t see Dhary at all, except he’d come just before bed time pick some of his stuff and leave, still without communicating at all. I’ve gone shopping for the kids and got identical clothing for them out of boredom…

The apartment was spotless, everything was ready for Aziz, Noura and the kids, and I couldn’t wait till tomorrow

Finally at about 12 pm that day my phone rang and surprisingly it was Dhary calling…

Me: hmm

Dhary: Sara?

Me: hala?

Dhary: you9lon bacher at 4pm

Me: ee adry

Dhary: bayech esa3a wa7da bacher 3ashan nro7

Me: okay…

*silence *

Me: mm mashkour Dhary matga9er

Dhary: 7ayach 3ady shda3wa… shetsaween?

Me: sitting… bl 9ala… alone

Dhary: ya3ny ta3aaal tara ana ga3da bro7y :p

Me: hahha shako -.- enta tfham klshay bl magloub mo mshkilty!!

Dhary: el7in 9rt ana el magloub?

Me: eeh!

Dhary: *he hung up *

I opened the door to see him holding his phone and smiling that smile I cant resist! He is killing me slowly with his stares and the fact that he isn’t doing anything! Ughhh

He walked past me and patted my head… ok Dhary? Do I look like a dog to you? you don't pat humans heads mister!

I locked the door and joined him on the sofa for the next 3 hours, then I started falling asleep and I don't realize that I’ve slept on his warm chest till he woke me up and placed his left hand under my knee and the other behind my back and carried me to my room.

He placed me on my bed and bent down so that he was on the same level as my head

Dhary: yala ana mashe saroon ashofich bacher ok?

I don't know what got into me and made me say this…

Me: please stay Dhary

Dhary: la hdoumy hnak magdar

Me: 3endi some of Hamad’s clothes in the far end of my closet choose one for now w bacher elbs something else …please eg3ad

Dhary: mmm 7aathir mn 3yony hathy * points at left eye* gabl hathy *points at the right eye *

Ok. This was adorable!

He walked to the closet and found the boxer, then went to the bathroom to change, 5 mins later he slid beside me in bed. It felt so safe being in his arms, I turned to face him and smiled as I shut my eyes and slept.
