I saved my essay, attached it to a new email page and sent it to my professor.

Then I sat there staring at the laptop screen blankly, thinking what to do now? Sleep? Study for my quiz? Or sleep?

OKAY sleep it is!

I closed the laptop’s screen and laid back on the sofa, pulled out the living room’s quilt and slept peacefully! I woke up to a VERY loud knock on the door that scared the HELL out of me!!!

I was so scared that I grabbed my phone quickly, ran to my room looking back every time checking if that FREEKY person broke the door or not yet! I locked my room door as fast as I could and held my phone and saw that I had 12 missed calls from DHARY!

I hit the green button to call him and said after the second ring when he picked up!

Me: DHARY SAKRAAAN 3ND EL BAAB! E6G 7AAAIIILLL SHASAWY! (and I started crying)

Dhary: LAAA LAAA !!

Me: Em-baa-laah pl-ea-se ta-3aal!

Dhary: ya 7ilwa, fchay el bab hatha ana

Dhary: sarona?

Me: hmmm…9ij? Hatha enta? STOP KNOCKING ma a9adgik lazm we check awal gabl ma afchlik el bab!

Dhary: ok yalah ana babase6 bara

I unlocked the door and heard that something had it's weight against the door, I walked to the apartment door and stood there…

Me: put your phone on the floor (I said as I hung up)

Then I pinged him on Bbm and that was when I heard his phone buzz on the floor!

I quickly unlocked the door and swung it open!

Dhary: please don’t leave the key in the key hole, hang it on the hook 3ashan mayen3ad hal maw8if :p

Me: opss :( sorrryyy

Dhary: 3ady! 5ara3teeny 3alaich

He said as he got up and walked over towards me.

Dhary: sh-haal dmou3! Afaaa ! t5afin mny!

Me: I thought you were someone else *trying to talk in between sobs *

Dhary: *sigh * lat5afeen sarona I'm here

He said as he pulled me into a hug! Then he picked me up so that my feet no longer touched the floor and walked in and locked the door after him. It felt so warm and safe being that close to him, I just didn’t want him to put me back down and let go of this tight but comforting hug! Sadly, not everything you wish for happens and lasts. So he let go after locking the door and put his arm over my shoulder and we both walked to the sofas.

And so he changed the subject to avoid what might have came next.

Dhary: ana gltt akeed nayma! 7alaya el kesha (he said as he flung strands of my hair)

Me: 7araam 3alaik ana mo kesha! ):

I said quickly and started patting my hair from both sides to let those strands fall back.

Dhary: maynona? (he said as he held both my hands)

Me: 3ashan enamoun el yananwa

Dhary: haha chethy tnawmeenhom? Zain ma 6ayartay m5ich (he said as he let go and messed my hair) Ya7elo el kesheeeeeshh!

Me: hhaaaay

Dhary: ya5y 3ajebny kaify may9eer ya3jebny?

I stayed quite and as soon as I felt my cheek turning red, I placed both hands over my face and covered it! Next thing I felt was his hands over mine and he held them from my wrist. Suddenly he pulled my hands apart and said…

Dhary: Tiyaaa !

And we both burst into laughter!

Dhary: ya3ny lazm nl3ab weyach nafs faros o feda :p

Me: ee aghaar mnhom

Dhary: 5ala9 wala ehemich my attention kila 7agich ba3ad shtabin!

Me: hahaha

Dhary: 3ala 6aree faroos o feda, aziz kalamny elyoum o chena byona in about 10 days ;)

Me: REALLY :O? o mama?

Dhary: galy betroo7 UK o ohma qareraw eyon hnee

Ok I really miss the United Kingdom some friends, and well home. I’m pretty sure mom is taking them to our house, and well she didn’t tell me which isn’t fair at all. I thought about it but then bribed myself till I finally forgot about it well not completely.

We sat on the sofas and watched TV for a while then I started falling asleep and suddenly waking up after 3 attempts of my head-tilting front, back and sideways.

Dhary: yala tnameen?

Me: ee ta3bana

And that was it; we both went in our different directions and slept

I woke up the next morning at 9:59am realizing that I have class in 30 mins and I had forgotten to set that alarm!

Me: SHIT la2 la2 klsh mo nag9a at-haza2

I quickly ran to the toilet taking off my Pj’s in the process… trying to act like multitask-ers. I brushed my teeth, washed my face, and washed to pray.

I Prayed then wore a pair of light jeggings, a t-shirt and my pair of classic brown uggs. Then I rushed to Dhary’s and pulled out his Arizona Navy blue pullover and rushed back out!

Dhary: WAIN? (he shouted from his room)

Me: CLASS IN 10 SEE YOU LATER! (and I shouted back)

I grabbed one of my plastic ‘Harrods’ bags and dropped my cardholder, phone, charger, Ipad, Ipods, flash drive, and Uni. papers/Notebook!

Me: BA5TH EL SAYARA!

I said as I took the keys from the hook and ran down the stairs fast, luckily no one saw that I was inches from slipping and tumbling down those stairs! I got into the car and zoomed to university. I parked in the closest parking spot and walked to class seeing that I had 3 mins!

As I walked past Kuwaiti guys who of course didn’t take their eyes off of me since I'm the only Kuwaiti girl on campus and one of 7 middle easterners. I gave them no attention at all and walked directly to class and THANK god I was just in time…

I answered to my name as in entered class

Me: Present! (I shut my eyes for a second hoping that he’d let this one go)
